Famed UK Site Hosts Powerful Fire Conference

On September 5–6, 2008, the famed ExCeL London hosted the much-anticipated Benny Hinn Ministries Fire Conference. It was a power-packed time as a capacity crowd of over 7,000 came hungry to join this amazing time of worship, teaching, and ministry!

An excited crowd of partners and friends of the ministry came from as far away as Uganda, the Congo, France, Belgium, India, Scotland, Ireland, Finland, Norway, Spain, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, Australia, and Portugal.

Anointed Teaching
“You cannot live on an old anointing,” Pastor Benny taught during the conference. “You must be anointed afresh.”

He pointed to the fact that David was anointed three times—the first time anointed to destroy the demonic power that ruled the Philistines.

“Anointing belongs to warriors,” Pastor Benny charged. “David was anointed to fight Goliath. David never lost one battle against the Philistines. He was anointed for war. He was not wrestling against man. He was wrestling against demonic spirits—the things you fight in life. Quit looking at the instruments satan uses and look beyond it. The anointing fights demons. The anointing breaks the yoke. It’s God’s plan and the devil’s plan at war.”

He shared that the war in the spirit demands that every saint of God be involved: “When the church is not involved, it strengthens the hand of satan. The angels cannot use the blood against demons. Only you can. We are going to be judged on what part we played in victory and what part you played in defeat.”

After reading from Psalm 103:20, he stated that our behavior affects the strength of angels: “Everything we do, everything we say, every way we live can empower or hinder angels.”

“God is looking for partners in the battle,” he continued. “Why did God call Elijah? He was a warrior. He did not fear a fight. God looks for warriors, not cowards. The anointing belongs to warriors, not cowards.”

Unlimited Anointing
Using the example of Elisha’s double portion of the anointing that destroyed Jezebel, Pastor Benny explained how the anointing breaks the power of satan and every demon spirit that comes against the body of Christ.

“We are about to be anointed with a new anointing!” Pastor Benny taught. “The book of Acts without the supernatural would have been nothing at all. The supernatural became the natural. And now God is looking for men and women who know how to use the sword of the Spirit, to put on the whole armor of God.”

Teaching about the three dimensions of the anointing, he described how our generation is poised for an unlimited outpouring: “God is about to do a new fresh thing on this planet!”

A Fresh Wave of Anointing
By Friday evening, the anointing and expectation for healing had spread throughout the crowd, and God moved mightily throughout the thousands gathered in the ExCeL London arena!

As the conference concluded, Pastor Benny talked about a fresh wave of outpouring upon believers during these crucial times.

“We will see works like Jesus saw and even greater,” Pastor Benny told the enthusiastic audience, “and we are in a new season!”

He indicated three specifics we will see during this season:

1. Evangelism on a wider scale
2. Miracles on a larger scale
3. Greater deliverance from bondage

“God is going to use you,” he exclaimed before he laid hands on and prayed for the multitude, “but you must prepare to be used. When that fresh wind begins to blow, you need to be prepared and be in the right place. Prepare through prayer and study, and then be part of this great move as we work together to fulfill the Great Commission.”

A Challenge
“What an incredible Fire Conference we enjoyed in London!” Pastor Benny reports. “There was such great enthusiasm and an intense spiritual hunger in the people. God gave a great anointing and such liberty to teach. This conference was everything I hoped and prayed for. There is such a fresh anointing.
